The Douglass Event Center wedding venue is 15 minutes from Nacogdoches, Alto, and Cushing, TX. We offer a variety of rooms and layouts based on the size and needs of your event, from our smallest room ideal for 75 people or less, to the full facility layout with dancefloor and seating for over 200 people.
Each room has a kitchenette consisting of a food warmer, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot. We also have an onsite dressing room for weddings, rehearsals, showers, graduation and birthday parties, etc.

Available year-round, the Douglass Event Center can host large family gatherings, weddings, and corporate events, or can be easily divided into smaller rooms to host baby showers and intimate events. Our space features a neutral color scheme and an open floor plan for you to customize the layout exactly as you want it for your special event!
Numerous amenities include heating and air conditioning, food serving area, dressing room, chairs for up to 200 guests, seated table layouts for small or large groups, a sound system, and ample convenient parking. Each room has a kitchenette consisting of a food warmer, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot.
Our facilities also include a private outdoor area with an open, grassy space perfect for party inflatables like bounce houses, slides, or other outside setups.
